Born and raised a Nazarene (in Richmond, VA), Eric found his way to Olivet Nazarene University and Vanderbilt Divinity School. He is passionate about how the power of the resurrection and Jesus' proclamation of the Kingdom of God can make all things new. His experience on the streets of Nashville gives him a unique vision to see the possibility of transformation and reconciliation in broken communities.
Meet Joy:
Born and raised in Jackson, MI, Joy found Olivet Nazarene University through soccer. She majored in Children's Ministry and later received an M.A. in Teaching from Trevecca Nazarene University. Joy is passionate about reading instruction as it connects to underprivileged families. Her years of teaching English Language Learners connects well to the diversity represented in Kona.
Our Family:
We were married in June, 2007. After a few years of learning "how" to be married, finishing graduate work, and entering the working world, we welcomed our daughter, Justice, into our family in November, 2011. And in January of 2014, we welcomed our son, Micah. Together, we enjoy the outdoors, drinking coffee, reading a good book, and hanging out with our neighbors.
We now live and serve in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii as Missionary-Pastors.
